Please try and use the shop and post office whenver you can. Every sale helps us to survive.
A small limited company, (independent of The Askrigg Foundation)
operates as a village shop and Post Office.

The shop provides

• Local employment
• Serves the village with the sale of goods, including newspapers and magazines.
• Helps visitors (the shop is an information centre for the Yorkshire Dales National Park) by selling maps, guide books, local walk routes and providing tourist information.
• Acts as an outlet for locally made goods.

The Post Office

• Is licenced for car taxation
• Foreign currency exchange
• Cash withdrawal machine
