The Dales Countryside Museum is transformed into a Christmas wonderland for the weekend.
CHRISTMAS SPIRIT 7.30pm The Dales Folk will be performing songs, stories and tunes in their show
SPINNING A YARN... 2pm to 4pm Watch a display of traditional woolcrafts including spinning and peggi rugs by local enthusiasts.
FESTIVE FABRIC WORKSHOP... 10.30am to 3pm
Join Kate Trusson for a day workshop where Kate will show you how to start exciting fabric projects for Christmas.

APPLE DAY... 11am to 4pm
A family fun day celebrating Yorkshire's traditional apple varieties and orchards with hands on art and craft activities.

This is a retrospective exhibition of the life and work of the museum's founder, Marie Hartley and her associates Ella Pontefract and Joan Ingilby. Showcasing their books, paintings, wood engravings and drawings. Desktop publishing
Old Photographs of Wensleydale Schools and their pupils
A large collection of photographs on loan from local people will be on show, some more than a century old. Please come along and help us identify relatives and friends in order that we can develop our Wensleydale local history archives or just call in and enjoy the show. Events

AUTUMN JAMS & PRESERVES... 11 am to 4pm. Join Ann Holubecki in the farmhouse kitchen for a demonstration of traditional preserve and jam making. You may even pick up some tips on what to do with your own autumnal glut of fruit!
