History Of The Askrigg Produce Show

The Askrigg and District Produce Show began in the early 1940s as part of the "dig for Victory" campaign to encourage food production, two of the main organizers being Mrs. Hopper of Winville and Mr. Horn of Lodge House, Askrigg.

  • The Hartley Cup was donated by Mrs. Hartley a resident of Askrigg.
