The Dales Countryside MuseumWhat's on / The History of the Museum / Friends of the Museum / Yorkshire Dales Young Archaeologists Club
Housed in the former Hawes Railway station and more recently extended to include a purpose built museum complex, including circular exhibition/lecture theatre. The museum displays an era of the dales way of life and traditions long gone. These include vetinary, leadmining, knitting, agriculture, wartime, cheesemaking and much, much more.
