Mr James Richardson

James Richardson was born in 1901. He had two brothers (Ernest and Frank) and one sister (Alice)
He farmed at Manor House Farm Thornton Rust.

When James was a young man of 13 years he kept a little diary of his life on the farm in the years 1914/15/16.

Mr Richardson was a quiet man who enjoyed reading and his daughter said she thought he would have liked having his little work published.
I have certainly enjoyed transcribing it.
